Unity & Diversity Music Gathering — Friday, September 25, 2026

Join us for a music-inspired gathering celebrating unity in diversity and exploring how, together, we can contribute to a better neighborhood, community, and society.
 

The Bahá’í Community of Reston is inviting friends, neighbors, and associates—new and old—to enjoy an evening of music, friendship, and meaningful conversation about what our community needs and what we can do together.

REGULAR ACTIVITIES

Discussions for a Better World
 

Every Friday, 7:00–8:30 p.m. — In Person
 

A friendly and positive weekly gathering where people from different backgrounds explore ideas and learn from one another.

Each week features a different topic related to creating healthier relationships, stronger communities, and a better world. A facilitator provides a discussion guide and helps everyone participate in a respectful exchange of ideas.

A Great Place to Begin

We especially recommend Discussions for a Better World if you are new and would like to learn about other activities available to you and your family.
 

An activity representative can help connect you with opportunities that fit your interests, language, location, schedule, and family needs, including:

• Devotional gatherings

• Service projects

• Children's educational programs

• Junior youth programs

• Youth and adult programs

• Social and community-building activities

English, Farsi, and Spanish are spoken.

WEEKLY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY

Free English Corner

Every Friday, 5:30–7:00 p.m. — In Person

Students:
A safe, welcoming place to improve your conversational English. Group leaders facilitate conversations on a variety of interesting topics while participants build confidence, expand their vocabulary, make friends, and become part of a supportive community.

We also practice everyday American social language and customs. From 6:30–7:00 p.m., participants enjoy informal conversation and light refreshments together.
 

Volunteers:
English-speaking volunteers are welcome! Bring a friend and join us in serving our community.
